{portrait} JENNIFER

In the process of editing some photographs of my daughter and just had to laugh out loud at this one!  I’m still learning my newest lens, so I need models to work with whenever I have time to just play with my camera.  Thankfully, one of my daughters is usually game.   Jennifer and I have a funny story about where this photograph was taken . . . and I’m sure if we told you, you wouldn’t believe it . . . so we’re just gonna keep it our little secret.  Anything for a great shot, right?!

{portrait} JESSICA

Red spider lilies are blooming in the yard and the temps are dropping!  Autumn is my favorite season.  I’m drawn to reds, browns, oranges and yellows in nature. Today’s cooler weather just drew me outside late afternoon.  Loved the crunch of leaves and the redbirds enjoying the berries on the crepe myrtle.  And boy was I excited when Jessica drove up and agreed to let me take a few quick snaps of her before she headed back out.  Everything about them says autumn to me.

{baby} ELLA JANE

These sweet hands and feet belong to my niece’s daughter, Ella Jane.  Aren’t they precious?  Sweet Ella and I (with her mom and dad’s help!) had a fun photo shoot this year at the Neshoba County Fair.  Thanks, Mandi, for asking me to photograph your daughter for you!

{baby} SCOTT

Baby Scott was my first baby session!  Photographing him was very sweet because early in the pregnancy he threatened to deliver and his mommy had to work really hard to keep him from being born extremely premature.  How thankful we are for God’s blessings to this family!  And even though he was having a tough day with his little tummy, we somehow managed to get some really precious shots of him that I hope the family will cherish.  He is a beautiful baby with long lashes and the prettiest little lips ever.  He looks so comfy and cozy all snuggled up in his blankets.  Thanks, Kristin and Nick, for inviting me to your home to capture some of the first days of your newborn’s life.
