My husband and I took an early morning “camera drive” down the Natchez Trace, which is practically in our backyard. This section of the Trace follows the Ross Barnett Reservoir in Madison county in Mississippi. We only drove about 20 minutes down the road but enjoyed a bounty of beautiful scenery in that short stretch of road. Fall is, without doubt, my favorite season: the air is crisp, the soups are warm, the colors brilliant. My favorite images from along the banks of the reservoir this morning are below.
