I love this photo of a little flower girl leaving the wedding holding her mommy’s hand. I captured this sweet moment while in Jackson Square in New Orleans. I was far away from the wedding party streaming out of the St. Louis Cathedral when this little girl caught my eye. Thankfully I had my zoom lens on my camera and was able to get the shot! It’s not perfect by any means. But it makes me happy to look at it and remember that tender moment in time.
Biltmore Estates is currently hosting a “Tiffany” exhibit. These Tiffany-inspired dragonfly planter stakes were in flower pots throughout the property. I have a thing for dragonflies. I have a big crush on these. Wanted to buy one to bring home but they were sold out. Right now, even the formal gardens give tribute to the genius Tiffany designs because they are planted to look like giant stained-glass dragonflies!
All nine cousins together at the 2011 Neshoba County Fair. Very rare happenstance indeed. So happy I got this shot!
I promise you this dog smiles. He does! Really. I had the best time snapping photos of this amazing dog as he enjoyed the very chilly water at Sliding Rock in Brevard, North Carolina. He was so busy trying to please his owner by bringing him everything he could find! I’m glad he eventually stood still just long enough for me to get this shot! It’s one of my favorites from our vacation.
These sweet hands and feet belong to my niece’s daughter, Ella Jane. Aren’t they precious? Sweet Ella and I (with her mom and dad’s help!) had a fun photo shoot this year at the Neshoba County Fair. Thanks, Mandi, for asking me to photograph your daughter for you!
